How sources are used

Pearson is the source for test content, delivery and booking policies. Governments define immigration evidence rules; institutions and professional bodies set their own acceptance conditions. We link these sources so readers can distinguish an explanation from the rule it explains.

When refreshing a guide, we check the relevant official page, separate product-specific facts and use examples to explain a decision or learning problem. A competitor’s fee table, a remembered test question or an unverified social post is not a substitute for an official policy.

Dates and source links show the scope of a particular update. They are not a promise that fees, seats or rules will stay unchanged. Recheck the official source before booking, paying or submitting an application. If two official pages conflict, the explanation should identify the uncertainty instead of inventing a definitive answer.
