Contact and correction emails

If you email hello@ptekaro.com, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use the correspondence to respond, investigate a reported content or website issue, and keep the related communication record.

Do not send passports, login credentials, payment-card details, full score reports or visa files. Our contact process does not require them. An email link opens your email application; it is not a PTE Karo account-registration or document-upload form.

Google Analytics

The production website is intended to use a standard Google Analytics 4 tag for website measurement. Where the tag is configured, it loads automatically; this site does not currently provide an on-site analytics acceptance form. Where no analytics measurement ID is configured, the Google tag is not loaded by the site.

Analytics helps us understand visits, useful content and navigation. Measurement can include page URLs, referrers, device and browser information, approximate geography, session activity, cookies and interaction events. Google receives technical request information when the tag communicates with its services.

The current site code also measures some completed tool interactions: selected purpose, destination or test; study-planner weeks, available minutes and focus skill; and navigation or official-source clicks. These are not official exam scores or an application assessment. Do not put sensitive personal information into a URL or tool input.

Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from partner sites and its Analytics data safeguards. This notice does not mean that analytics is anonymous or that no information leaves your device.

Cookies and local storage

GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. Google lists cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>; their lifetime can depend on tag settings and browser restrictions. Cookie expiry and analytics-data retention are different things.

The Start Here helper also saves your selected purpose, destination and test guide in this browser’s local storage so it can restore the selection. This is separate from an analytics cookie. You can clear it using your browser’s settings for ptekaro.com site data.

Search, the selector, study planner, CLB conversion and centre filters perform their calculations or filtering in your browser. That does not exclude ordinary page requests or the analytics interactions described above.

Hosting and service providers

Cloudflare is the selected production hosting and delivery provider. Requests to a Cloudflare-hosted site involve technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, which can include IP addresses, requested resources, routing data and security events. The information and logs available depend on the deployed services and settings.

See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices. Google, Cloudflare and email-service providers can process information through infrastructure outside your country. Their services have their own policies; this notice does not promise that all processing occurs in India.

PTE Karo does not currently use advertising or affiliate services. Links to Pearson, governments, universities and other sources open services with separate privacy practices. Review those policies before submitting information there.

Retention and privacy requests

Google Analytics retention follows the property’s settings and Google’s applicable policies. Google explains that these controls do not set the lifetime of standard aggregated reports in its data-retention guidance.

Email correspondence is held in the contact mailbox and related records. To ask what information from your correspondence is held, request a correction or ask for deletion, email hello@ptekaro.com. Describe the request without sending unnecessary identity documents. Any applicable recordkeeping obligations can affect what can be removed.

Controls available to you

• Use browser settings to inspect, restrict or clear cookies and site storage. Clearing storage can remove a saved Start Here selection.
• Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Its scope is Google Analytics measurement, not all hosting or email processing.
• Choose what to include in an email, and redact personal details from screenshots before contacting us.

Browser controls can affect site features and do not automatically delete information already processed by a service provider. Contact us for a question about data associated with PTE Karo.

Student practice tools

The six student tools do not upload practice answers, notes, Core scores or recordings to PTE Karo servers or send those inputs as analytics events. Ordinary page measurement still applies where the analytics tag is configured.

Writing drafts and study plans are stored in this browser only when you choose Save. The mistake tracker saves entries automatically when browser storage is available. These records do not sync between devices. Each tool provides deletion and export controls; clearing this site’s browser data also removes local saves. Downloaded copies remain on your device until you delete them yourself.

Speaking recordings remain in the current tab’s memory until downloaded. Closing or reloading the page removes the tab’s copy. Microphone permission is requested when you start recording and can be controlled in browser settings. Browser-generated speech uses the voices available through your browser or operating system. Some voices communicate with an external speech provider; we do not promise that speech generation is offline or processed exclusively on your device.
